Why students need their own screening
A teenager's stress looks different from an adult's. It shows up as falling marks, skipped meals, late nights on the phone, irritability at home or a sudden loss of interest in friends. The student Stressometer is written for that life, so the questions make sense to a 14 year old and a final year undergraduate alike.
What an institution gets
- Student Stressometer access for a class, a year group or the whole institution, licensed by volume
- A personal report for each student, with practical tips for exam periods and everyday pressure
- A route to a psychologist, and to a psychiatrist when needed, through Dr. Vohra's Emotional Wellness Hub in India
- Aggregate wellness metrics for the institution, to plan support around exam seasons and transitions
- Integration with your existing systems through a custom API, and a dedicated account manager
Parents, consent and privacy
For students under 18, the institution and NWNT agree before screening starts how parents are informed and how consent is taken. Students should know who will see their report and who will not. Parents who want help spotting exam stress at home can read NWNT's guide for parents.
When a student needs real help
Screening is only useful if it leads somewhere. When a report shows significant distress, the student and, where appropriate, the family are pointed to counselling, online or in person at the hub's clinic in East Patel Nagar, New Delhi. Where symptoms suggest a medical cause, a psychiatrist is added.
If a student talks about wanting to die or harming themselves, do not wait for a programme. In India, call Tele-MANAS on 14416 or 112 for emergency services.
Starting a programme
Pricing depends on the number of students and the parts you choose, and is shared on request. Write to help@nwnt.ai or call +91 78279 90371.
Frequently asked questions
- From what age can students take the Stressometer?
- The student version is for ages 13 and above. Adults 18 and over can take the adult version, and colleges can choose the student one for its focus on study pressure.
- Can an individual student take it without the school?
- Yes. Any student can take it online for Rs 249 in India or USD 8.99 elsewhere; a parent should be involved for those under 18.
- Does the programme replace our school counsellor?
- No. It gives your counsellor a structured picture of who needs attention first, and a place to refer students who need specialist care.
- Can NWNT help in an emergency?
- No. NWNT runs screening and planned care, not a crisis line. If someone is in immediate danger in India, call Tele-MANAS on 14416, the free government mental health helpline that answers round the clock, or 112 for emergency services. Outside India, call your local emergency number.
