Step 1: Screen
Everything starts with the Stressometer, a set of 55 clinically validated questions taken online in about 10 to 15 minutes. It looks at five dimensions of life (Human Nature, Life Circumstances, Clinical Symptoms, Domestic Life and Professional Life) and produces an Emotional Wellness Index report. It costs Rs 249 in India and USD 8.99 everywhere else, and organisations can license it for everyone they look after.
Step 2: Triage
Triage means matching the level of care to the level of need, so nobody is pushed towards medication they do not need and nobody with a serious problem is left with a list of tips. Your report places you on one of three paths.
- Stressometer only: stress in a healthy range, with a detailed report, preventive tips and self-care strategies
- Screening + Psychologist: talk therapy, cognitive behavioural techniques and coping strategies with a psychologist
- Screening + Psychologist + Psychiatrist: a medical evaluation, diagnosis and treatment, alongside therapy
Step 3: Connect, in India
In India, psychology and psychiatry are provided through Dr. Vohra's Emotional Wellness Hub. Sessions run online by video, voice or chat anywhere in the country, or in person at 29/24, East Patel Nagar, New Delhi 110008, close to Patel Nagar and Rajendra Place stations on the Delhi Metro Blue Line. People from across Delhi, Gurgaon and Noida can come in person; others stay online throughout. Progress is tracked as sessions go on.
Step 3: Connect, outside India
The Stressometer works anywhere with an internet connection. Clinical care is local: psychiatry needs practitioners licensed in the patient's own country, and prescribing follows local law. So for organisations abroad, NWNT helps set up local psychology and psychiatry services, handling onboarding, practitioner matching and ongoing management. Individuals abroad can have online counselling where local rules allow, and NWNT guides them towards licensed local care when a psychiatrist is needed.
Who uses this model
Since 2011, NWNT has touched more than 25,000 lives across 40+ countries. The same three steps run whether one person signs up or a whole organisation does.
- Individuals and families who want to know where they stand before seeing someone
- Employers screening a workforce and offering care paths to every employee
- Schools, colleges and universities looking after students from age 13
- Indians living abroad, and families in India supporting someone overseas
