When is an in-person visit the better choice?
Online care works for most people, but some situations go better face to face: a first assessment when symptoms are severe or confusing, a consultation where a family member needs to be in the room, a teenager who opens up more easily in person, or anyone who has no private space at home to talk. Some people simply prefer it, and that is reason enough.
Getting to East Patel Nagar
From West Delhi, Central Delhi and Patel Nagar itself, the clinic is usually a short drive or auto ride. By metro, take the Blue Line to Patel Nagar, Shadipur or Rajendra Place and finish the journey by auto or on foot.
From Noida, the Blue Line runs straight through towards Dwarka without a change. From Gurgaon, ride the Yellow Line to Rajiv Chowk and change to the Blue Line towards Dwarka. From South Delhi, the Yellow Line to Rajiv Chowk and the same change works well, or drive in along the Ring Road. Leave extra time at rush hour.
Mixing clinic and online visits
Many people come in once for the first assessment and continue online afterwards, which saves the commute without losing the relationship with the same clinician. Others alternate, coming in when something important needs discussing. Either pattern is fine; agree it with your psychiatrist or psychologist.
Start with screening if you can
Taking the Stressometer before your visit helps. Its Emotional Wellness Index report shows whether a psychologist alone or a psychologist with a psychiatrist is the better fit, so the first appointment is with the right person. Bring the report, any earlier prescriptions and test results, and a list of the medicines you take.
Booking a visit
Contact NWNT at help@nwnt.ai or +91 78279 90371 (phone and WhatsApp), or book through drvohras.com. Please arrange a time before travelling rather than walking in. Fees depend on the clinician and are shared when you book.
Frequently asked questions
- Is the NWNT office the same place as the clinic?
- Yes. NWNT's office and Dr. Vohra's Emotional Wellness Hub are both at 29/24, East Patel Nagar, New Delhi 110008. The clinical sessions are the hub's.
- Can a family member come with me?
- Yes. Tell the team when you book, and say whether you want them in the room for the whole session or only part of it.
- Can I switch to online sessions later?
- Yes. After an in-person start, most follow-ups can move to video or voice with the same clinician.
- Can NWNT help in an emergency?
- No. NWNT runs screening and planned care, not a crisis line. If someone is in immediate danger in India, call Tele-MANAS on 14416, the free government mental health helpline that answers round the clock, or 112 for emergency services. Outside India, call your local emergency number.
